Bone Condensing & Spreading
|Bone condensing and spreading comprise the nonablative, congruent implant bed preparation with densification of the bone (improvement of the bone quality) in the bone-implant interface.
The bone is gently prepared for the implant using osteotomes and bone spreaders.
|This surgical technique is used with very narrow mandibular ridges, so that an additional operation to augment the mandibular ridge before the implantation is not necessary.|
|This method protects the existing bone, as no valuable bone is lost, in contrast to drilling procedures.
|Implanted ceramic bridges in the anterior lower jaw.|
